HeeHee I don't really remember but I think it was a regular Merc 650/700X with fuel injection..not very fast but still the winner because of poor competition..and lots of unapproved testing at very...
I was there..in Auronzo, Italy 1976 watching the OE World championship race from the shore.
Renato used this 3 cyl. Merc and I did see the engine. Not sure about the powerhead but it was a fuel...
