[QUOTE=stupidbaker57;112022]I've seen speedmaster cases with a 16/21 gear set. Does this mean that the engine spins 16 times to the props 21 times or the other way? What RPM do the engines run at...

does one propeller flex More than the other
can you tell me who won the 1984 stock national at Wakefield
0235 would be the stock timing but more is better i ran my 30 h at 375 thousand be for top dead center
Barry do do you have any clue as to how much pitch takes to go 35 mph at two hundred rpm per minuet if you get to much pitch you go back wards .diameter dose not move you forward it the pitch
two blades are the fastes. Air plain guys say that two blade are the fastes but the rate of clime is better with 3 blades. so on the race corce the 3 blades and in the kilo runs i go for two...
getting back to pitch again i make Small propeller gages and 12 inches of pitch is a 45 degree angle
ps never hear of pitch in 16 foot range diameter yes
35 mph
what i am trying to prove is that a propeller dose not screw it self through the water but is a pump that produces thrust like a jet and i have broken world records and won national championships...
Jeff you mist the point you can not get enough pitch to go 30 mph @175 RPM but the queen marry dose luck it up on google
its amassing to me how guys get screwed up on propeller slip I2 inches of pitch at 5200 rpm = a mile minuet less slip i think that is no way to describe how a prop works please conceder this....
funny transoms are torn out not pushed in
other factors need to be addressed i would not expect you would have as much force on the transom on 100 pound boat as you would on 1000 pound boat unless you where tied to the dock. But...
but sk s run 12 to 18% over drive whith lots of hp
i would agree
ron hill but a thee blade cleaver on a inboard awhile back with a 36 % over drive they set a record a d lake
efficiency of the propeller increases with the rpm that one reason the unlimited boats turn the prop 10.000 thousand
i have only ben around boat racing for 50 years so dont know much about thrust but i do know about rpms and that is a propeler officiates increases with the rpm
i am in wa and shipping cost would be out of sight
where do you live Ihave a mark 58 a that i would give you
