Former Champboat Driver Harry Davis Dies

Some of the old timers here will remember Champboat driver Harry Davis, Harry was a long time friend of mine and also was the first African American to run with the V8's in Pittsburg.

I knew Harry. As I recall he bought my last 3 tunnel hulls, 2 Molinari's and a Seebold, after we moved on to Offshore.

He was always a gentleman and a very likable guy with a true passion for boat racing.

May he rest in peace.
