spraying epoxy?

Has anyone sprayed epoxy? I'm coating the bottom and the plan was to use a primer gun and MAS low viscosity and medium hardener at 2:1 and diluted 10 or 15 percent with denatured alcohol.

Am I headed the right direction?

Yes, and be sure to clean your gun by running straight denatured alcohol or acetone through it soon after you shoot the epoxy.

BTW uncured epoxy can also be cleaned up with cheap white vinegar, safer and cheaper and less toxic than laquer thinner, acetone, denatured alcohol.

You can also use vinegar to strip the wax from certain epoxies prior to sanding. It will save you a lot in terms of clogged sandpaper. Less pads to buy, and it makes the epoxy sand a lot easier.
