Yes, he is a liar, and a self serving, false Valor grabbing, draft dodging, wanna be......He is about as much of a Marine, as obama is an American.

It's still a pissing contest.......Nothing will come of it, Cal is broke anyway, no money to spend, and according to FOX the Az law has 86% approval in some off the wall poll, 65% to 31% in another.......The Mex pres is trying to dictate US policy, and the Kenyan, and the Dims in Congress, seem to be OK with that...Ray

Liberal lies are like new math. I was teaching 5th grade when new math came in. I taugh it for about a week and decided whoever wrote the textbook was a dumb ****. ARITHMETIC new or old. 2 and 2 is four unless you are a LIBERAL. Then it is whatever you want it to be!!!
Liberals don't lie for the same reason Blacks can't be racist. Liberals are like people on CRACK. You must believe what the say, don't confuse anyone with facts.
John Kerry did serve in Vietnam, he also shot himself.

70% of America agrees with ARIZONA'S NEW LAW WHICH IS COPIED FROM THE FEDERAL LAW, AND Obama has a State of the Union Party inviting only people who donated at least $200,000 to his campaign. Then, he lets the Mexican president tell us what we should be doing.
I'll tell you what we should be doing, we should be moving to Arizona!

Ron,
The law patterend after the Fed's law contains one interesting change. In the Fed's law an officer does not need a breaking of the law to stop someone and ask for their papers. They can do it at will, while Az says, break the law first and then we will ask.
Being a teacher you will love this. Fed Dept of Education had a contest that H.S. could compete to have Obama give the teleprompter treatment to speak at their graduation.
Guess what the Secret Service has requested, absolutely delicious, Seniors are being asked to provide their birthdates, Social Security numbers and citizen status to the Secret Service so background checks could be performed. Such a check is required for anyone who gets within an arm’s length of the president, students were told at their senior breakfast Friday.

Ron..You should run the government ..I agree 100% with you..and will vote

I grove up in a liberal country and left because you can not run a small

I knew that part of the Arizona law and probably should have used the words ESSENTIALLY copied the Federal Law. My EX city, Costa Mesa, California voted to run their city by the RULE OF LAW.
Lars probably has a better handle on seeing a government crumble better than any of us, as he grew up in Sweden, and finally left his beloved land because he gave up on Sweden. VAT for those of you in Rio Linda, is Value Added Tax, a tax on tax for anyone who buys something.
Roger Penke has been a winner in everything he's done, as far as I know. Saturn would have been another winner had OBAMA not Nationalized General Motors.
Roger is probably too old, but I have wanted him to run for President for 20 years. I once wrote him a letter telling him to run!

Racism and immigration seem to be hot topics these days.
Let me tell you about a young lady I know who immigrated to America LEGALLY!
Vicky (her Americanized name) came to the U.S. from Viet Nam.
Obviously she is not caucasian; and therefore she must surely be subjected to extreme racial predjudice, but look at what she has done in the 7 years I have known her.
Worked her way through college earning a B.S. in Chemistry!
Bought a car!
Bought a house!
Became a citizen!
Bitches about taxes being too high! (Good for her, I think they are too.)
Currently works 2 jobs to save enough money to return to school and become a pharmacist!
What's wrong with this girl????
She must be out of her cotton-picking mind to work this hard!
Just sneak into the Good Old USA illegally and the liberals will give you everything you need.
Of course the liberals expect someone other than themselves to pay for all this.
California, keep your nose out of Arizona's affairs. You haven't done too well in managing your own business.
Mr President, quit kissing Mexico's *** just to buy votes. Do you think we're blind or just stupid?
While you're running around the world apologizing to everyone who wants to see the America way of life die, don't forget to apologize to Israel for the shameful way you have snubbed our only TRUE friend in the Middle East!

Example.. for every child you have, money from the government..
More children, more money..
Income does not matter..
A pregnant person get 15 month full paid maternally leave... if the yet pregnant again within the 15 month..another 15 month!!
The employer have to pay for all this..even the small business owner.
Rent..money from the government every month
5-6 weeks paid vacation every year. Small business owner pay..
Election is later this year and the Socialism are now in bed with the Green party want to have to power back..
They are running on 6 hour workday, but you get paid for 8..
Well..higher fee for the small busness owner is the target to pay for all that..

Lets see there is already a federal law that says send illegal aliens back.
Arizona says goverment is not inforcing law so we will. Whats wrong with that. There should not be any discussion, sounds simple to me.
I have been to Tucson,Nogalis,Phoneix. Pretty nice place, was thinking of visiting some day,not now. I'll wait till they get rid of all the illegals lolololo.
Question: If you make a illegal legal do the have to say the pledge of allegiance?
Would just kill them to have to fly a USA flag

Understanding that human nature and self interests predominately affect most people, I try to read as many points of view as possible so I can accurately conclude a logical, rational and justifiable reason for the global economic and political realities as they exist.
I moved from Quincy to FL many years ago to a coastal tourist town. Over the past 8 years many communities, including mine, have been inundated with illegal immigration. With the illegal aliens came drug gangs - 13 different gangs have been ID'd - (so many that our police had to create a separate Mexican gang task force to combat them), violence (armed robberies, gang wars in the streets - an 11 yr old boy got in the crossfire and was killed, murders, home invasions, etc), our taxes have exploded to cover the costs of the increased burdens on our schools, our hospitals, public housing and police forces. AZ is trying to gain control of what has been an uncontrollable problem -- people crossing the border into the US illegally.
Those that come here illegally seem to have no problems breaking other laws once they get here. They work "under the table" for cash and keep wages down for Americans. In the construction business in FL these days you cannot find a job unless you are an illegal working for a sub-contractor as the sub-contractors don't want to pay decent wages, benefits and workers comp to "legal" workers. It's the United States tax payers that make up the difference between the illegal's low wages and what it costs for them to live in America.
People, this isn't about race, it's about the very wealthy elite using illegal aliens to destroy what is left of the middle class. Look up: Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America. These elite want to merge the US, Mexico and Canada into one large territory. To do that they have to bring down the standards of the US and Canada to Mexico's. I am not crazy, go read the stories about their project.
What we are witnessing are the long term results of too many short term self interest decisions.
While most of us were pursuing our self interests, the establishment elite (both liberal AND conservative) have fundamentally been orchestrating their takeover of our country's financial and political systems. Fighting each other over the terms liberal vs conservative is exactly what THEY want -- for while we are fighting each other, we are further ignoring THEM and their continuous, monumental power grab.
Follow the money, the political time lines and the fraternal connections. It's all there.

Excellent post Mr.Strom!
For those who voted for this President and support this present administration, they should duly note and take heed to Mr. Strom's post It is a mind opening experience to read information like this from people who have come from a socialist society/government telling us what they have witnessed in their former countries and how it resembles to what they see presently happening in our country. The interesting fact is they feel compelled to warn us about it. Logic must dictate we should feel compelled to listen and not let socialism take our country.
Thank you Mr. Strom,

High taxes and government fees pay for all this stuff.
Gas is 3-4 times higher, well..the tax on gas.
High tax on all energy..(Cap and trade)
25 % VAT..(sales tax)..
(I have already heard our President said that VAT works in other country's)
Tax on people you employ..salary is one thing..35-40% extra fee on top of that to the government.
Income tax..50..up to 75/80%..
Healthcare is run by the government, single payer...
(There is a Cadillac plan for some people)..
I think our President is using the Swedish text book..I know what he is going to say before he says it.
Not because I am smarter then the President...but it is an old story he is telling us.
Sorry to be negative but America do not need this CHANGE..
It is the wrong road...
We need to get our own energy, (plenty of oil under American soil)
Nuclear, clean coal, natural gas and everything else possible..but do not go down the road saving energy..that kills the economy and everybody that don't live in the big cities.
Low corporate taxes and let people run there own life.
Don't let the liberals destroy this great country.
We are all way smarter than that.

The immigration problem was caused by every conservatives hero, Ronald Regan with his amnesty program. Google it up and read about it if you don`t remember. So many illegals flooded into our country a short time later, were given amnesty and voting privileges, that they became a factor in our elections. No president since, Bush I, Clinton, Bush II, or Obama would get involved with changing the process, when over 20% of our population is Hispanic. No way we can send all these people back now that the damage has been done. Our President wants to close the borders, and insure no more can get in and let the ones that are here become citizens. Nothing else can be done. It was Bush`s plan also, but he didn`t have the nerve to put it into action. Like Lars mentioned we have plenty of oil for our citizens. Problem is our oil is sold on the open world market, so its price is reflected by the need of "have not " nations. American oil should be used only by Americans. This can happen only by government control of who buys our oil. This is not socialism, its common sense. Let the "have not" nations buy Mid East oil. Problem is, free enterprise works on paper, but for businesses like oil, banking, wall street, that are essential to our lives and economy, federal regulations are needed. Our past president rescinded all these regulations, and we are paying for it now. These industries took advantage of our citizens. This has nothing to do with controlling private business, where competition rules. There is no competition in the above mention industries when they all band together to control supply and demand. That is monopolies and is and has been illegal forever in the USA. Problem is these industries have huge federal lobbies that pay off politicians on both sides of the fence, make the politicians rich, these companies get richer, and the American citizen gets screwed. If controlling these industries and locking our borders is socialism than I`m all for it. Our goverment in nothing at all like any European goverment and never can be. Our goverment does not own any private industries. Americans that are goverment employees are not employed in producing products for sale. It is illegal for our goverment to compete with private industries. Case in point. If any of you racers are also boaters and fishermen you will understand this. Not too many years ago, if you were stranded out in your boat, you could call the Coast Guard and they would tow you home. When I was in the Coast guard in the `60`s, we did this all the time. We even brought gas to commercial fisherman who ran out. Then at some point I can`t remember the exact time private industry got involved in the boating tow business. At this point in time the Coast Guard had to cease helping stranded boaters, becuase it interfered with private businesses. From then on the Coast Guard only assists boaters when threat of loss of life is involved. The goverment never bought, controlled auto industries. They lent them money to get them out of the huge jam they were in. Now their business is improving and they are paying the goverment back. simple as that. If you are here in America illegally, you have 90 days to return to your country voluntarily with your family and possessions, and get in line to immigrate legally when your turn comes up....If you fail to take advantage of this free pass for your crime of being here illegally, and we find you, and we will, you will be deported immediately and forever banned from legal entry. If you come back to America after being banned, you will have zero civil rights afforded to citizens, and you will be sentenced to 10 years hard labor in a chain gang type work farm....Then deported. No illegal immigration amnesty, never........No way, no how.......Go home......Staying here will not result in any type citizenship, now or ever....Ray

Ray,
I like your solution. How many times have we heard from the establishment (both left and right) that we are a country of LAWS and that the rule of law shall prevail?
Your solution is far more generous than Mexico's laws regarding illegal immigrants in THEIR country.
The only other thing that I would consider as a solution would be if the elite multi-millionaires & billionaires would completely spend down their family fortunes to adopt all of these illegals now residing in our country and then promise to take a vow of poverty for the rest of their lives to serve these impoverished people that they claim to champion so much. :p Will never happen -- they're all phonies! They always use somebody else's money for their social experients, and that money always comes from working Americans that are fed up and see these people for what they really are. Never forget that we working Americans were forced to bail out Wall Street, they never bailed out us (or themselves).

Your solution is far more generous than Mexico's laws regarding illegal immigrants in THEIR country. thanks,
Paul A Christner
ps: Thanks Pat for your nice comments about my dad.
Actually Paul, Calderon was pinned down by Wolf Blitzer about that during a Post speech interview. He said that Mexico's immigration laws were draconian, (my word, not his), but have been changed in the last year to be more humane..
He said it is no longer a "crime" to be in Mexico illegally??? And Mexico and Honduras, (or their southern border neighbor, if not Honduras), have opened a dialog towards "comprehensive immigration reform".......Ray

I did not see the interview with Blitzer on CNN. I did, however, read part of a transcript of the interview at http://cnsnews.com/news/article/66332 that included the following:
Wednesday afternoon, after appearing at the White House with President Obama, Calderon appeared on CNN's "The Situation Room" with Wolf Blitzer, where he made the point that illegal immigration is no longer a crime in Mexico, under the 2009 revisions.
“So if people want to come from Guatemala or Honduras or El Salvador or Nicaragua, they want to just come into Mexico, they can just walk in?,” Blitzer asked.
“No,” Calderon said. They need to fill out a form and undergo a criminal background check, he said.
“Do Mexican police go around asking for papers of people they suspect are illegal immigrants?” Blitzer asked.
“Of course. Of course, in the border, we are asking the people, who are you?” Calderon replied.
Once foreigners are legally admitted to the country, “what the Mexican police do is, of course, enforce the law,” Calderon said.
Can people who sneak into Mexico from Central America, for example, get a job? Blitzer asked.
No, no, Calderon replied. “If – if somebody do that without permission, we send back -- we send back them.”
“You find them and you send them back?” Blitzer asked.
“Yes,” Calderon confirmed. He admitted that Americans have a “very powerful argument” when they say that Arizona and other border states are only trying to do what Mexico itself does with illegal immigrants – find them and send them back.
IF THEY FIND ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS IN MEXICO - THEY SEND THEM BACK! It seems to me that Calderon was talking out of both sides of his mouth during that interview.
It's also interesting that I came across the following story tonight. The web link is http://rense.com/general90/all.htm. Since the story does not appear to be copyrighted, I am posting it here for you all to read because I feel it's very important information for American taxpayers.
All In Just One Hospital
5-23-10
Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas , Texas is a fairly famous institution and for a variety of reasons:
1. John F. Kennedy died there in 1963
2. Lee Harvey Oswald died there shortly after
3. Jack Ruby-who killed Oswald, died there a few years later.
On the flip side, Parkland is also home to the second busiest maternity ward in the country with almost 16,000 new babies arriving each year. (That's almost 44 per day---every day.)
A recent patient survey indicated that 70 percent of the women who gave birth at Parkland in the first three months of 2006 were illegal immigrants. That's 11,200 anchor babies born every year just in Dallas.
According to the article, the hospital spent $70.7 million delivering 15,938 babies in 2004 but managed to end up with almost $8 million dollars in surplus funding. Medicaid kicked in $34.5 million, Dallas County taxpayers kicked in $31.3 million and the feds tossed in another $9.5 million.
The average patient in Parkland in maternity wards is 25 years old, married and giving birth to her second child. She is also an illegal immigrant. By law, pregnant women cannot be denied medical care based on their immigration status or ability to pay.
OK, fine. That doesn't mean they should receive better care than everyday, middle-class American citizens. But at Parkland Hospital they do. "
Parkland Memorial Hospital has nine prenatal clinics. NINE.
The Dallas Morning News article followed a Hispanic woman who was a patient at one of the clinics and pregnant with her third child---her previous two were also born at Parkland . Her first two deliveries were free and the Mexican native was grateful because it would have cost $200 to have them in Mexico. This time, the hospital wants her to pay $10 per visit and $100 for the delivery but she was unsure if she could come up with the money. Not that it matters, the hospital won't turn her away. (I wonder why they even bother asking at this point.)
"How long has this been going on? What are the long-term effects?
Well, another subject of the article was born at Parkland in 1986 shortly after her mother entered the US illegally - now she is having her own child there as well. (That's right; she's technically a US citizen.)
These women receive free prenatal care including medication, nutrition, birthing classes and child care classes. They also get freebies such as car seats, bottles, diapers and formula.
Most of these things are available to American citizens as well but only for low-income applicants and even then, the red tape involved is almost insurmountable.
Because these women are illegal immigrants, they do not have to provide any sort of legitimate identification - no proof of income.
An American citizen would have to provide a social security number which would reveal their annual income - an illegal immigrant need only claim to be poor and the hospital must take them at their word.
Parkland Hospital offers indigent care to Dallas County residents who earn less than $40,000 per year. (They also have to prove that they did not refuse health coverage at their current job.. Yeah, the 'free' care is not so easy for Americans.)
There are about 140 patients who received roughly $4 million dollars for un-reimbursed medical care. As it turns out, they did not qualify for free treatment because they resided outside of Dallas County so the hospital is going to sue them!
Illegal's get it all free! But U.S. citizens who live outside of Dallas County get sued! How stupid is this?
As if that isn't annoying enough, the illegal immigrant patients are actually complaining about hospital staff not speaking Spanish. In this AP story, the author speaks with a woman who is upset that she had to translate comments from the hospital staff into Spanish for her husband.
The doctor was trying to explain the situation to the family and the mother was forced to translate for her husband who only spoke Spanish. This was
apparently a great injustice to her.
In an attempt to create a Spanish-speaking staff, Parkland Hospital is now providing incentives in the form of extra pay for applicantswho speak Spanish. Additionally, medical students at the University of Texas Southwestern for which Parkland Hospital is the training facility will now have a Spanish language requirement added to their already jammed-packed curriculum. No other school in the country boasts such a ridiculous multi-semester (multicultural) requirement.
Remember that this is about only ONE hospital in Dallas, Texas. There are many more hospitals across our country that must also deal
with this.
Check this for yourself...

I think Mexico should have to give Americans (and other non-citizens) that go to Mexico illegally the same benefits and rights that they want us to give to their citizens that come to our country illegally. Either they give us the same deal or, as far as I am concerned, Congress can stick comprehensive immigration reform where the sun doesn't shine -- in Al Gore's lock box. Their idea of reform is to make a "pathway" for every person living here illegally to become citizens. There are over 7 billion people in the world that live in poverty. Who of that 7 billion are you going to say "no immigration" to when they decide to come here illegally to get on the immigration path? Especially since our borders are practically open to the north and south?
I think the 4 main things that we need to do as a country are:
(1) cancel NAFTA and bring back our manufacturing jobs
(2) the US treasury needs to take back the printing of our sovereign currency - our money should not be controlled by a private international entity, which the Federal Reserve is
(3) any corporation (including banks, oil companies, health care providers, etc) that is too big to fail is too big to allow to remain a monopoly. You cannot regulate monopolies in business, they have to be broken up.
(4) access to free national birth control
I feel the right combination and balance of the above would lead us as a nation to prosperity that we've never realized before.
thanks,

This is from a column from Arthur Brooks in the WAPO today. Read this first page and tell me again why Obama should not be called a socialist. Especially find the paragraph from his speech at ASU. It is clear from those comments that he feels like the govt. should tell you what you should make and that the free enterprise system is completely foreign to him.
Google Arthur Brooks Washington Post article, it is a doozy!!!!
Ray
I call this a culture war because free enterprise has been integral to American culture from the beginning, and it still lies at the core of our history and character. "A wise and frugal government," Thomas Jefferson declared in his first inaugural address in 1801, "which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government." He later warned: "To take from one, because it is thought that his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to every one of a free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it." In other words, beware government's economic control, and woe betide the redistributors.
Now, as then, entrepreneurship can flourish only in a culture where individuals are willing to innovate and exert leadership; where people enjoy the rewards and face the consequences of their decisions; and where we can gamble the security of the status quo for a chance of future success.
Yet, in his commencement address at Arizona State University on May 13, 2009, President Obama warned against precisely such impulses: "You're taught to chase after all the usual brass rings; you try to be on this "who's who" list or that Top 100 list; you chase after the big money and you figure out how big your corner office is; you worry about whether you have a fancy enough title or a fancy enough car. That's the message that's sent each and every day, or has been in our culture for far too long -- that through material possessions, through a ruthless competition pursued only on your own behalf -- that's how you will measure success." Such ambition, he cautioned, "may lead you to compromise your values and your principles."
I appreciate the sentiment that money does not buy happiness. But for the president of the United States to actively warn young adults away from economic ambition is remarkable. And he makes clear that he seeks to change our culture.
The irony is that, by wide margins, Americans support free enterprise. A Gallup poll in January found that 86 percent of Americans have a positive image of "free enterprise," with only 10 percent viewing it negatively. Similarly, in March 2009, the Pew Research Center asked individuals from a broad range of demographic groups: "Generally, do you think people are better off in a free-market economy, even though there may be severe ups and downs from time to time, or don't you think so?" Almost 70 percent of respondents agreed that they are better off in a free-market economy, while only 20 percent disagreed.
In fact, no matter how the issue is posed, not more than 30 percent of Americans say they believe we would fare better without free markets at the core of our system. When it comes to support for free enterprise, we are essentially a 70-30 nation.
So here's a puzzle: If we love free enterprise so much, why are the 30 percent who want to change that culture in charge?
It's not simply because of the election of Obama. As much as Republicans may dislike hearing it, statism had effectively taken hold in Washington long before that.
The George W. Bush administration began the huge Wall Street and Detroit bailouts, and for years before the economic crisis, the GOP talked about free enterprise while simultaneously expanding the government with borrowed money and increasing the percentage of citizens with no income tax liability.

The United States as a nation’s state, that is part of the global populous state, cannot continue procreating dependency that consistently, disproportionately outpaces our productivity. Especially the productivity that comes from value added manufacturing.
The unique aspect of value added manufacturing is far superior economically and infinitely far more advantageous to a population as a hole in the long run than the exclusive value added of a service economy, in that it the manufacturing value added multiplier increases the ability to create far more reaching wealth in a society without the degree of inflation than a service economy expansion does primarily because:
(1) the multiplier ratio of the value added labor comes from a source that requires far less costly education overall that’s not necessarily productively realized in a socio-economic system, and
(2) we have to make the things we consume as a country to remain free independent and sovereign politically. Look how Japan and China have risen economically from increasing their manufacturing base instead of their service economy exclusively. Look at our increasing debt in proportion to our increasing consumption of foreign produced consumables. Look at the declining value of our currency since these trends began.
Case in point: Historically there have been many educated communist countries that have had a very poor living standard by any sense of measure with, at the same time, many if not most of their citizens highly educated. Cuba, former USSR, China, etc. China cannot and will not be the main producer of our manufactured value added consumables infinitely. Their people will not tolerate China being our country’s manufacturing slave forever.
The chosen few of Wall Street, I believe, cannot continue to portion the productivity of the globe while infinitely skimming astronomical financial rewards and expect the American people to continue to back this exclusive racket financially with their sinking middle class status and ship of state. Along the way, I discovered Americans that I’ve looked at the faces of and into the eyes of that have been set up emotionally to be financially exploited (myself included) by some of these the financial elite and the global intelligence among us, of which many believe that the vast majority of Americans are unwashed, undereducated and easily led.
Regardless, I cannot and will not believe that the vast majority of Americans will consciously help transition their country that they love in their hearts and take pride in into a 3rd world trash heap.

Paul A Christner

Don`t buy into everything you see on cable TV. Don`t by stupid.:)

Based on his posts the last few weeks, this troll has no strong feelings of his own about anything. All he does is disagree and try to pull other peoples chains. I bet (as you have observed) if you started agreeing with him he would change his opinion and take the other side. Since folks like him have no character that allows them to have opinions of their own that they truly believe in, he makes up for that shortcoming by taking the other side just because it pleases him to try to raise someones blood pressure.
The quickest way to get rid of him will be to ignore whatever he posts here. He is not worth the effort because he has no character that allows strong beliefs of his own, no matter the subject or point of view. As you noted, that is pretty obvious if you go back and read his posts. Truth be known, he probably is not even a boat racer, but just a "wannabe" who never had the guts or fortitude to participate. Here is the definition of the word bigot.
A person who regards his own faith and views in matters of
religion as unquestionably right, and any belief or
opinion opposed to or differing from them as unreasonable
or wicked. In an extended sense, a person who is
intolerant of opinions which conflict with his own, as in
politics or morals; one obstinately and blindly devoted to
his own church, party, belief, or opinion.
If the shoe fits wear it. Obviously, everyone has differences of opinion. That does not make one a bigot. But if you don`t like Nancy Pelosi becuase she is a woman, and you don`t like women in politics, you would be a bigot.
It it highly unusual for a former public school teacher to have the above opinions. I bet you didn`t bring those opinions into your school. Also for a person in business, its pretty stupid to express your opinions on the above with possible and former customers, unless you are so independent you just give a shxt. So I take it if I voted for Obama you won`t sell me a prop. Maybe you can do that when you can live off yours teachers retirement pension, and also Social Security, and Medicare. Have you noticed?
The "chosen one" has decided not to participate in Memorial Day ceremonies at Arlington.
Does this mean he'd rather play basketball with his buds in Chicago than honor those who gave their all to secure the blessings of freedom not only for Americans, but for our Allies as well?
This is more than just breaking tradition! This is "in your face m.f." and that does not mean "My Friend"!
Every member of the military takes an oath to "obey the orders of the President ....." but how can our brave men and women in uniform honor a man who shows such utter contempt for them?
Let him go back to Chicago AND STAY THERE!
Then dredge a canal around Cook County and St. Clair County (East St.Louis)
and make them independent nations.
That way the U.N. could support them and Illinois would be a better place to live!

There better be a dam good excuse for not attending Arlington. I can understand a couple circumstances, one of them being dead.
What is sad is a lot of today's youth are just like him. There is an expected amount of entitlement, and a lot less respect. I can deal with entitlement, but I sure the hell will not deal with the no respect issue. If you can't respect your own country and the property in it, and the people serving it and its citizens, you are do not desrve the salivia it takes to spit on the ground in front of you in contempt.
Punishments seem to never fit the crime..... you need to know the punishment is far greater than the reward you get for breaking the law. One chance, I will give anyone a second chance. But that is the line in the sand. Screw me once shame on you. Screw me twice shame on me.

Now that OBAMA is sending the National Guard to "PROTECT" our border, even thoushg he'd not given them any power to do anything besdies stand there, does this make him a RACIST because he want to keep illegals out? Or is he a bigot because he'd like to keep American the way HE WANTS IT?

Absent-in-Chief: Obama MIA for Memorial Day, Vacationing as Spill Worsens

Already under increasing fire for his handling of an oil spill that many experts now say will be the worst environmental disaster in U.S. history, President Barack Obama is riling conservatives and veterans with his decision to skip the traditional Memorial Day ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery.
Instead, he will vacation in Chicago.

This guy really puts in the proper perspective for who the ONE really thinks he is, a self-absorbed idiot of the first variety.
The President's Self-Pity
Obama’s whining is puerile
BY DANIEL HALPER

This guy is incredibly self-absorbed. He is the greatest example of, I LIKE ME FIRST, WHO DO YOU LIKE?
President Barack Obama, at an exclusive fundraiser last night in San Francisco for Senator Barbara Boxer:
":mad::mad:
This is the most revealing comment Obama has made publicly in a long while. It shows his self-absorption and utter lack of a sense of history.
Sure, FDR had a tough ‘30s with the economy and all, but by the time the ‘40s hit, it was smooth sailing.
(What’s worse: the Nazis and the threat of world-dominating totalitarianism or the obstructionist Republicans?)
And President Harry Truman really had an easy time ending World War II, and having to nuke the Japanese.
President Dwight Eisenhower only had the Korean War to worry about – and who remembers that, anyway? JFK and LBJ had Vietnam
– not to mention the worry that the Russians might nuke America from Cuba, or any other place in the world, etc., etc., etc.
Obama’s whining is puerile. One does hope it’s been the toughest year and a half he’s ever had.
He is the president, and it’s a job that requires a bit of work. But to treat the previous presidents with so little respect is unbecoming.
Sure, he has two wars to fight – just as his predecessor did – and a global struggle against radical Islam.
But he isn’t even focusing (with a few exceptions) on these events.
What seems to have him down is that he has a political opposition resisting his agenda.
The presidency is a job that you really have to want in order to get.
The last thing people want to hear from a president is even an iota of self-pity.

The great one also likes to fly around in Airforce One. Notice all the trips that he makes. Why? Seems to me he should be doing his job in the White House. Not flying around in Airforce One. Oh but he really enjoys the roy'laty. When Reagen was Pres. He and Nancy came out to Calif and we handled the Airforce one at the TWA hanger. The Secret Service was there days ahead of time. I and another were put in charge of the visit. Man what a thing with the Secret Service.

Every member of the military takes an oath to "obey the orders of the President ....." but how can our brave men and women in uniform honor a man who shows such utter contempt for them?
Actually, there have been several military members that challenged obama's authority to be CIC.....Their challenges were brought, and won, in a Military Court, based on obama's lack of qualifications to hold the office of President. Based on failure to provide proof he was born in the USA, the Officers responded to Courts Martial and challenged the charges against them. ....Rather than allowing the cases to go forward, and having to supply said proof, the cases against the members refusing to deploy, were dismissed........WHY???, and why wasn't this all over the evening news???

Why not keep it open? Unless we can stop the current policies and reverse them, our country is doomed, much like current day Greece.
The boat business in America is off 90%, and boat racing is pretty much follwing that 90 per cent number.
Until Americans have money in their pockets to spend on "EXTRAS" , they won't be boat racing.
Carpenteria, California is voting on more drilling in their city, in the coming week's election. The city would get $200 MILLION DOLLARS FOR THEIR OIL DRILL OK. What to bet me they vote drilling down? Hell, they might have an oil spill. Or Americans might get jobs. Why should Americans work when the Chinese can do everything, with our money???
What would a city do with 200 million dollars anyway.
PT Barnum said it years ago, "There is a sucker born every minute." The FOR YEARS the Average America has been "SUCKERED" into thinking that the LIBERAL MEDIA actually reports news. The good news is, the INTERNET is putting the Liberal Media out to pasture.

Even Liberal Pukes can think at times and some are seeing that maybe Arizona is right, as more than 75% of Americans support the law. Must be some Liberals supporting the law. Open writing has to be good for everyone.
America has to let their voice beheard at the ballot box.

I submitted a milder version of this post to our local newspaper "Letters to the editors". My letter was published on Tuesday.
Yesterday 2 rebuttal letters were published.
Both letters were complimentary to Obama.
I was even reminded George H.W. Bush and Ronald
Reagan did not always attend the Arlington Ceremonies.
How dare they compare BHO to G.H.W.Bush and Ronald Reagan!
Today we face an unprecedented disaster with the oil spill in the gulf.
We are at war in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Our Citizens along our southern border are afraid to go out at night.
North and South Korea are on the verge of war.
Israel and Palestine are on the verge of war.
Iran contines to work toward developing a nuclear weapon.
And where is our leader?
In Chicago because he made a promise to come back ever so often. Is this really the right time for the President of The United States to be on vacation?

The Kenyan is still giving our money away faster than we could ever count it. The Phoenix Suns get $140 Million TARP money. No wonder they opposed the Arizona immigration law that 70% of the American people approved. The Kenyan also opposed it and he had TARP money to give away to the poor struggling Phoenix Suns. Rumor has it that the Suns have fielded hundreds of thousands of calls and e-mails against their "Los Suns" political statement. I've gone to my last Suns game with this owner at the helm and I hope they lose Amare Stoudemire to a real team in the off season. Choose your battles and/or follow the money. Dream of the Coming Global Disorderhttp://www.moneyteachers.org/Vision.anon.html
My Dream Of A Future Event (Anonymous- Date:1988)
My dream is as follows:
...Things were bad for our nation at this time both inside and outside with war raging throughout the world, but war had yet to come to our shores.
The feeling I had in this dream was it was just a matter of time. The Stake President said that orders had come from Salt Lake City that it was now time for us in our stake to take in members from Louisiana who had been gathering in and around Lake Charles.
He said we were to open our homes to the members and help them. As soon as we gathered all we could from Louisiana to safety in Vidor, we would travel as a group to a gathering place near Woodville, Texas and meet with the Beaumont, Texas Stake.
The dream continued. I saw a large tent city at my brother's ranch south of Evadale, Texas at Wiess Bluff. I saw a smaller one at my old home place where my sister lives and one at my other sister's land. I also saw other groups camping in and around North Vidor. I saw later that we were ordered to move from these camps to the Woodville, Texas area...
There was not yet a total breakdown of law and order so we received some help from law enforcement in our movements and camp sites. Shortly thereafter, we moved as a group by trucks, cars, buses and some semi trucks northwest. Near Gatesville, Texas at the site of a military fort called North Fort Hood, we met some regular army people or National Guardsmen who were stationed there.
They asked us to accept several army tanks as they feared these tanks would eventually fall into the wrong hands or be taken by force by several outlaw gangs. They were about to abandon the fort and therefore wanted the tanks to go to Utah where there was still law and order and some official acting government of the United States who would be restoring order to the nation.
Several of the soldiers joined our group because they had nowhere else to go. The army provided us with large semi-tractor trailer vehicles to load and move the tanks. Many other vehicles were provided, including large gasoline tankers along with fuel, weapons and food. Before this time, we had to scrounge around for gas and supplies and sometimes negotiate with money for needed items.
It seemed the whole world was falling apart, especially Europe except for England. Wars were everywhere and the United States had committed troops everywhere, but since the federal government had declared national martial law, had federalized most of state and local law enforcement and suspended the courts, many people began resisting. Our armies overseas were being recalled to help restore order, but many upon return had just simply refused orders or deserted.
I recall now that my dream showed several large cities in a state of rebellion with mob rule and large gangs, private armies or volunteer armies all fighting for control with the federal government unable to do much to restore law and order. The cities I remember were Los Angeles, St. Louis, Washington D. C. and New York City. San Francisco, Seattle and Denver at the time of our travel were just about in the hands of the outlaw mobs.
All civil rules had vanished. Troops had withdrawn from the cities. There were other cities, but I don't remember if they were in total disarray at this time or if that happened after we all got to Utah. I do recall that things got so bad in Washington D.C. that the government along with the President had flee to safety.
By this time it was no big secret that the Mormons and their friends were fleeing to the Rocky Mountains for safety. From Fort Hood we headed northwest, but we were not to go by way of Denver, Colorado as that city was already too dangerous for anyone to travel through. Those fleeing to Utah were advised to go around Colorado. We traveled slowly through New Mexico being careful to negotiate our way through the towns and cities.
I do not remember much about Alberquerque, but Gallup, New Mexico, Ship Rock, New Mexico, Southwestern Colorado and Southeastern Utah were trouble zones. Somewhere in one of the trouble zones we had a major battle against a large hostile force that attempted to ambush us. We off-loaded several tanks and easily defeated this force. Also in the trouble zone, armed groups stopped them to get food and also wanted their women. Our response was, "We'll give you bullets (shoot you), but not our women!"
Along the long route, many others joined us...We were in contact with them. Near Green River, Utah we met large church security units from within Utah who were there defending the way west into Utah and Price Canyon.
I was surprised to meet my son in the Price area where he commanded a company-sized unit, all well-armed. He had been very worried about us and especially his mother and sisters. He said we could come to his place and be with him and my wife's two sisters.
(At this time of my dream, my son was still in high school and living at home. Later he served a full-time mission for the church in Italy, then spent four years at BYU. Later he married a girl from Utah and currently lives there.)
We were then escorted through Price Canyon. Along the way I saw many defensive positions. At Soldier's Summit I saw a huge military camp with tanks, artillery, helicopters and anti-aircraft guns. Here we turned over our tanks and some of the single men and soldiers in our group for re- assignment. It seemed to me that nobody passed Green River without permission...
After most of the church had gathered into the safety of the rockies, the rest of the world began to really fall apart. Many who had not traveled to the Rockies the first time attempted to come, but found the way blocked by outlaw gangs or of thugs who preyed heavily upon them. There were few who made it. The whole world including the United States was at war to the like the world had never seen. There was no true safety or law and order in America.
I remember later a large hostile army that came from California by way of Reno, Nevada to fight us, but after a year of hard fighting, they retreated back to California. At about this same time another larger army came from Denver, Colorado, but after a short time and with very heavy loses on their side, trying to force their way into Price Canyon, they retreated back to Denver. My dream finally ended with a general sense of peace and safety as the rest of the world continued to war.
Question & Answers:
Since recording my dream and having several people read it, a few simple questions or concerns have been expressed. I believe this is a good place to answer them.
•First is the question of time. The year of the event is not known, but it was sometime in the near future. The gathering had already begun before our trip west. It had started prior to the world war and members began coming quietly from overseas to Utah. Many from the west coast were already in camps in Utah. The borders of America were open because it seemed to me the Border Patrol was less effective at this time and later was called upon to help with riot control in the major cities.
•The third question was about the breakdown of the civil government and law and order. I did not see a total breakdown of the government for the entire nation. We flew the current American flag as did other groups outside the Church and who still believed in freedom and America.. Many cities and States fell apart as rebellion and riots with mob rule, continued to grow. Simply put, I saw the cities and State police, now under federal control, could not stand up to so much crime and disorder. Even with the help of the Army and National Guard, many cites were lost to the mobs.
It seemed to me that when the government suspended rights and the courts, imposed martial law throughout the land, then forced food and gasoline rations and imposed other oppressive means, some unlawful, the people got fed up with it, and the riots and rebellion started.
Local taxes and the Federal Income taxes were not paid and with the failure of banks, the stock market unable to operate, along with very high oil prices and limited food, it was a general breakdown of control.
Banks and stores were robbed with local officials and judges murdered. Even with the military recalled home, many soldiers wouldn't fire upon fellow Americans.
•A fourth question arose from the third question. What about the banks and our money? At the time of our move to Utah, most banks had failed. The stock market was unable to operate in New York City. Money was still around, but a lot of people didn't trust it. We used money to bribe some of the people to allow us to pass safely through their towns...many gangs and mobs lusted for money and gain. They would kill even for money that was soon to be worthless.
•The fifth question was about the wars. I'm not sure how the world war started, but it had to do with oil in the Middle East and Israel. European nations, facing no oil, got involved. About this same time Russia was on a course to regain their past glory and clashed with just about everyone. Meanwhile, war had began between India and Pakistan... All I remember is that war was everywhere in the world.
***********************************
The above story was posted at www.rense.com, where they also have some absolutely shocking photos of the oil washing up on Florida's beaches.
This is the last thing we need in Florida.
The story above illustrates what's wrong with the open borders globalist crowd running our country into the ground to achieve their personal goal of establishing a New World Order, with them in total control.
It's not the left or the right, it's the 2 - 1 party against us, we the people.

That's a bit of a stretch. The Sun's didn't get any bailout. The bank that the owner just happens to also be a part of. The BANK got a bailout. Just like thousands of banks around the country got a bailout. More than $140 Million and definitely making more campaign contributions than Sarver's dealing out.

The issues that the country faces can be traced to past Presidents of both parties, so to scapegoat the current president is misleading. The wars that are being fought were started under past administrations, including a war in Iraq that was not necessary. Afghanistan is a different story in terms of necessity.
Some of the other issues, including the oil spill and the financial crisis have roots in the deregulation that began during Reagan's terms and continued with both Clinton and Bush. Every person in the highest office shares in the blame for the problems we face now, including the deficits that were started with Reaganomics and were ended under Clinton, only to begin again after the Bush tax cuts that benefited the wealthiest Americans. How many of you really benefitted from those cuts? Most of us are trying to stay middle class if we can. The wealthy corporations and the Wall street businessmen are still reaping big bucks while the rest of us try to get by.
Study history, rather than simply laying blame on the person who happens ot occupy the office.

QUOTE=3autility;92737]The issues that the country faces can be traced to past Presidents of both parties, so to scapegoat the current president is misleading.

Blaming obama's ignorance on past presidents is an example of blind faith and what got us to this point. Blame whom you wish, but obama will still go down as the worst president ever.......He makes Carter look like a genius.......Ray

Of course anyone who studies history knows that there is no "true history" because history is subject to the historian who interperts the events. And no I am not a talking head and I object to the comment. I only ask that people look objectively at all the facts in a situation before condemning someone because you don't like that person. Perhaps the current President will be judged at some later date as a poor President in the same way the GW Bush will be judged that way, but if you let your current political persuasion get in the way of objective analysis then you will never be able to make a rational judgment. Many people seem to be judging on emotion only.

That we don't have in reporting, i mean turn the news on!!i wonder if that's the reason there are so many stations that play only music and why so many younger people don't really know why they listen to it. When is the last time you actually had a conversation with a younger person that wasn't forced to listen?

At a little under $50k a year, its worth about $40 a week to me and its $40 that I pretty much need every week.
GW Bush started ramping things up thru his term, but nothing has ever compared to the increased deficit or money supply authorized by Obama, and that is a solid, undeniable fact. If the high debt and continual increase of printed and authorized money turns out to be a good thing in the end he will be judged favorably.

I have lived in South Carolina in the upstate for nearly the last seven years. I was born and raised in Chicago. I lived there for 60 years. If you are not born in the south you will always be an outsider even to southern boat racers.
South Carolina has the best of all worlds, the ocean, clean air, mountains, and low taxes! Cotton was big years ago, but it has been taken over by truck farming, a lot of corn, and grasses.
Many northern try to sound like southerns to pass-by, but I don't. Love me the way I am!!
There is a good number of Blacks in Seneca the closes town near us, all the Black people we have met have been nice to us.
We wouldn't move back to Chicago. South Carolina is damn nice place to live.

Remember to fly Alaska Airlines
Do you remember the scene? The Senate. Barbara Boxer hearing from a Brigadier General? Silly General! He addresses Barbara as "Ma'm", and she CORRECTS him, telling him she's "worked SO hard to earn the title, "Senator," so please to use that when speaking to her.
Get a load of this letter sent to Sen. Barbara Boxer from an Alaskan Airlines pilot below. Many of us witnessed the arrogance of Barbara Boxer on June 18, 2009, as she admonished Brigadier General Michael Walsh because he addressed her as "ma'am" and not "Senator" before a Senate hearing.
This letter is from a National Guard aviator and Captain for Alaska Airlines named Jim Hill. I wonder what he would have said if he were really angry. Long fly Alaska !!!!!

I guess if a person is going to copy and paste he should get it all,oh well.
Babs:
You were so right on when you scolded the general on TV for using the term, "ma'am," instead of "Senator". After all, in the military, "ma'am" is a term of respect when addressing a female of superior rank or position. The general was totally wrong. You are not a person of superior rank or position. You are a member of one of the world's most corrupt organizations, the U.S. Senate, equaled only by the U.S. House of Representatives.
Congress is a cesspool of liars, thieves, inside traders, traitors, drunks (one who killed a staffer, yet is still revered), criminals, and other low level swine who, as individuals (not all, but many), will do anything to enhance their lives, fortunes and power, all at the expense of the People of the United States and its Constitution, in order to be continually re-elected. Many democrats even want American troops killed by releasing photographs. How many of you could honestly say, "We pledge our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor"? None? One? Two?
Your reaction to the general shows several things. First is your abysmal ignorance of all things military. Your treatment of the general shows you to be an elitist of the worst kind. When the general entered the military (as most of us who served) he wrote the government a blank check, offering his life to protect your derriere, now safely and comfortably ensconced in a 20 thousand dollar leather chair, paid for by the general's taxes. You repaid him for this by humiliating him in front of millions.
Second is your puerile character, lack of sophistication, and arrogance, which borders on the hubristic. This display of brattish behavior shows you to be a virago, termagant, harridan, nag, scold or shrew, unfit for your position, regardless of the support of the unwashed, uneducated masses who have made California into the laughing stock of the nation.
What I am writing are the same thoughts countless millions of Americans have toward Congress, but who lack the energy, ability or time to convey them. Regardless of their thoughts, most realize that politicians are pretty much the same, and will vote for the one who will bring home the most bacon, even if they do consider how corrupt that person is. Lord Acton (1834 - 1902) so aptly charged, "Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely."
Unbeknownst to you and your colleagues, "Mr. Power" has had his way with all of you, and we are all the worse for it.
Finally Senator, I, too, have a title. It is "Right Wing Extremist Potential Terrorist Threat." It is not of my choosing, but was given to me by your Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano. And you were offended by "ma'am"?
Have a fine day. Cheers!
