Hi Everyone,
We've been busy this weekend adding a lot of old newspaper articles covering outboard racing in the 60's and 70's over at the www.QuincyLooperRacing.us web site.
One of the most interesting articles from 1977 featured Dan Kirts and his 8 cylinder Konig engine. You can find the article over at the Quincy site under the heading "Memorabilia," then click on page 11.
By the way, there's other "new" articles and/or photos on Johnny Dortch, John Woods, Richard Krier, Pop Wills and his Comet boats, plus the 1968 World Championships.
We hope to post tomorrow stories and photos about Rex Hall, Bruce Nicholson, Tim Butts, Cecil Wagner and Jim Warren.
We thought Ron Hill would like a trip down memory lane too, so we posted the photo below.
