JU and JSH Photos, 1968-69

I recently returned from Oregon, and brought back some photos from my late Fathers place, Dale Powell. Unfortunately we do not have many photos from racing, but there are some. I thought you might get a kick out of some old J photos from region 10.

This first one is myself in the 112, and brother Mark in the 122. He is driving the boat I used the year before, both boats are Price Crafts. 1969 is the year. 122 won Nationals in 68, 112 won it in 69.

Here is Mark Powell with his Hedlund ASH and a 60J running in JSH. Notice we moved the steering wheel back about a foot. He won Nationals in 1970 and was second in 1969.

Various photos from Hinton. Notice one really nervous kid before the first JSH heat. The third pic I think is Joe Price helping Mark with the Hedlund JSH. Last one is Mark collecting some hardware.

First photo is our first Price Craft JU I ran, 1968 maybe Green Lake Nationals? Second photo is the same boat at Lake Lawrence. Third one is myself and Janis Lee, 4th is Cheryl Magnuson (sp?), myself and Janis Lee.
