Hi gentleman, I'm new here as you can tell and am blown away by all the information that is available on this forum. I hope that I can make a positive contribution to this forum.

Now to my question. I have both a 25 hp Suzuki DT25c and a 3 cylinder 25 hp yamaha 2-stroke. I've heard mention of people gaining more power out of reshaping the reed stops on these motors and was wondering exactly how they are accomplishing this, how much do the reed stops need to opened on both motors, and how do you accurately measure this adjustment to get it the same on all three cylinders?

Thanks in advance

No it was a 40 Tohatsu with 40 carbs. It just had small jets and a restrictor plate behind the carbs. Same tuner and eveything.:D
