No I think it is funny y'all run boats we never would have though of running.and most of y'all have never laid eyes on a fastcraft or an high tide being the are local companies here in southcarolina.

Borel Boats are our local company and they built a wicked fast aluminum boat.

Boat is a Custom Camo Viper,
Basically a Critchfield 13ft v w/ no deck.
Motor is 45 cubes, std 1bl carbs, 2 bls on bench, medium port work, BIG EXPANSION CHAMBER.
Havent run yet, hope to have in water in April.
hoping for 60 ish
will post some more pics later tonight, can't find my **$%*& camera.

we run wooden boats that are just pieced together with a lil glue and a few nails, cant afford anything else. oh i got another rig i am workin on. ill get some pics up very quick.

After quite a few unsatisfactory trips to the river, Finally got the engine & carbs partially sorted out. Had things too FAT, jet wise, Just being too conservative i guess.
Best run so far, 66.7 mph by gps @ 7200 rpm, Think it's got some more to go.
Learing to tune an engine w/ an expansion chamber is a different animal.

you are up against the pipe for now and think its time to shift gears!
Finally going to the shop again and will get you some stuff to test.
