Here's what's new in the Northwest for August. I'm toying with the idea of expanding the "electric" news a bit if sites can hack the extra size. In the mail version I'm limited to 10 pages to stay inside postage limits, and you can see that means less story and not as many pictures as I'd Like. An example might be pictures of Howard Shaw's conversion of a lightweight composite electric hydro to a propriding FEH. There were initial concerns that it might be a kite, but it turns out that it's just fast, not hairy, and it's unsolved problem at this point is getting the tail to stick in the corners...this is really interesting to watch, and adding a couple pages to the PDF would allow me to share that.
