Thanks for posting a link to an artical on the race. Want to know more than the final finishing order. Facebook had an update on the finals on Monday, but no news on how the racing went. The F1 Prop, Champboat and APBA sights have no updates as of a few minutes ago. What happened with Tim Seebold? He was supposedly running an OMC powered boat according to the F1 Prop article last week. I would like to say that I appreciate this site and the columns on racing etc. Thanks for letting me be a member.

Maybe Jake will post here, but as I headed for Sonoma for the NASCAR race last week, I thought Jake told me Tim Seebold and Mike Schubert were driving his two Johnson Racing boats. I heard, rumored, testing problems kept them from attending Bay City.

Had I not been going to Sonoma to watch Robbie Gordon, I would have been in Bay City....

There is no OMC, it is BRF....No....Bombardier ...just Evinrude and they ain't in racing.....only Jake with Johnson Racing is into racing...

Thanks for the kind words about BRF, six years here....still love it!

As far as the racing goes, Shaun was dominant and the race was shortened to 35 laps from 50 laps.

Terry Rinker ran well and finished second.

Brian Venton ran well and brought home third in his rebuilt "Phoenix" Grand Prix.

Lynn Simberger, Jeff Sheppard, Mike Klepadlo, and Jeff Reno all ran well.

Kris Shepard knocked a hole in his boat in the F2 final and put it on the trailer after several laps.

In my rookie debut, I brought a boat that had a hole in it from testing the Thursday before we left for Bay City. We tried to patch it up and make it through the weekend, but it wasn't to be. After every practice, every heat race, the patch kept ripping off, but we kept repairing it. In the final, it ripped off in a big way and the boat was going down. I got 7 laps in before I had to slam it on the trailer before it sunk. The boat was running very well up to that point and will be ready to go for Kankakee. I finished 9th.

Chris Fairchild broke down on lap 4. I didn't find out what happened.

Jose Mendana, Jr. had an electrical gremlin reappear and did him in on the start of the race.

Hopefully, Jake will chime in on his own trials of getting to Bay City. We missed not having the Johnsons there.

That's a recap of the racing on the water.
