Here is the motor I have 2005 40 hp 2 stroke triple
here is what is listed on the plate:
2005 elpto
serial # 1B018460
model # 1043412DD

can someone tell me if these 60 carbs will mount up on my motor
top carb # 821854T22
middle carb # 821854T23
bottom carb # 821854T24
reed block assembly # 190754A3
reed kit # 812880A03
is there any other parts I would need to put on these carbs if they are correct. These would be new carbs from mercury.
Thanks for any help.

Does your 40hp have WME-53 or WME-92 carbs on it now..?

With all the blown up 60hp Mercury's out there, why not just by a complete front half and rebuild the carbs yourself? That way you get all the carb linkages, the right airbox (attenuator), primer solenoid w/fuel lines to show routing to duplicate, and reedblocks... All for pennies on the dollar...

Check with Outboard Recycle in Alabama... http://www.obrparts.com/
They may have core powerheads with broken cranks and wrecked blocks and might sell you a complete 60hp front half for cheap.

Good luck.

Tom

For brand new carbs, unless you're getting them way under dealer cost, you're spending alot of money to possibly not get everything required to convert the 40hp to 60hp...
