Can a mercury big tiller and kit with power steering be installed and function properly on a 2000 model 90 hp 2 stroke ? I'm presently running the old style tiller but would like to upgrade to give my arm some relief . Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

you would have to use a main engine harness plug adaptor to go from new style plug to old style plug, you would also not be able to use the "troll control" function, etc and have some other miner wiring changes (trim switch, p/s pump wiring), but it could be done..............the BIG question is whether it is worth spending over $3000 for the BIG TILLER w/PS??????

3000 $$$$ omg I did realize it would cost that much. Mercury told me it couldn't be done. Im not interested in trim in the handle or the idle biz. I just want the power steering part. I didn't know if the new shifter/throttle part would function.
