My '84 LTV Project begins

I was given an '84 LTV for free! It needs some work, but I plan to take my time and do it right. Pictures of whats been done so far

It needs a floor and paint, but the transom and knees are solid, deck is solid and the bottom is in remarkably good shape. The boat came with a brand new Hotfoot, two brand new fiberglass buckets (Allison style), dual steering rack and a bunch of other odds and ends. Going to be set up center steer with two inline seats.

I began work on popping the cap off the boat today. Spent about 4.5 hours drilling rivets, removing the jackplate and scraping away silicone (someone tried a half-*** fix at one point) and finally got the cap separated from the hull. A couple friends are coming over tomorrow to help me lift it off.

Drilling - you can see the little strip of wood that the cap is riveted too is quite dry rotted.
