1985 70 johnson20 inch mid. its not lost foam with a 4 inch gearcase thinking it is a 49ci?? and not a nitrocase,???

the number on the frost plug on top of the block is c8201951

I believe your correct 86 was the first year of the 56 cube. You should be able to tell by the design of the head. The 56 had a rather flat head while the 49 had contours where the spark plugs were.

According to the model number you listed its a 1985 which would be a 49 cu in, big gearcase
