Champ and 120

I see in some threads where Champ and SST120 classes seem to have some friction between the two.

In the Champboat Series, they race Champ and 120 at almost all the events it appears. Do they co-exist or is it a love/hate relationship ?

Dave... Champ & SST120 co-exist very nicely. They feed off each other in the series. Champ boat gets all the publicity and notarity while the 120's bring in some extra numbers.

Usually more 120's at the race than Champ boats, EXCEPT when the champ guys put back-up drivers in their back up boats as was the case in St Louis.

In New Roads, La this yr there were 29 SST120's and I think most of them started the 30 lap final.

I dont see much problem with races involving both.
