So, how long can I expect an impeller to last in a Johnson Stinger running at 6500 rpm?
My Impeller lasted me 3 years at about 25 to 30 hours of usage, I whent from 17 # to 5 at wot on my last ride.

Have you ever started the motor out of water and run it for any length of time? And has the motor always been pumping when it was on the boat, like are you running it high on the transom?
The reason I ask is were were getting those motors back in the shop avery so many years for tune up/maintenance and while many got the usual plugs, scrape carbon off pistons and head, carb cleaning, those same motors were going 10 years before the impellers really needed to be replaced.
The other thing I can think is how sandy/dirty is the water you are running in? What does the housing and driveshaft by where the seal look rides look like?
Others may have different input, but all the stuff I mentioned is going to effect your pump life.

The reason I ask is because I also got 10 years out from my other pumps from other outboards and this one surprised me, the impeller vanes were not burnt but all cracked and one was allmost ripped off and yes i do run her high but I am getting 17 lbs. at wot. This one's the first for me. The intake screen is intack and the only dry fire was from compression checks, my only thought is that the pump was old stock.
Thanks Mike.
