Is anyone able to give me the formula to be able to work out the CC capacity fo any engine e.g, bore X stroke - ? X the amount of cylinders
Thanks

This should help you.

In simple terms
Cylinder stroke (inches) x Cylinder Diameter(inches) x Cylinder Diameter (inches) x 3.1416 x 0.25 x Number of cylinders = Displacement in Cubic Inches
To convert to CC's multiply cubic inches in above by 16.3871 (rounded value of conversion)

The easy way is area x stroke x number of cylinders. A = 3.14159 x radius squared. Calculation can be done in metric units without conversion

Each way is easy one uses radius and the other uses diameter which is directly given in specs. Yes metric can be used in either case but need to convert all dimensions first. I think easier to use one conversion at end.
Use which ever.
