Yamaha 40/50 from yrs. 85 to 94 . The distance center's top to lower mount's are the same.
The length's differ from lower mount down of midsection's.

there is a snout on the 20" bracket, on the bottom, i've cut the snout off, and refit the seal. the 20" bracket works.:cool:

Please explain what years of yamaha trims can be fitted on the shortshaft OMC 75 ?
PRO50 units are really hard to find. Can long shaft trim units be fitted with modification?

"Yamaha 40/50 from yrs. 85 to 94 . The distance center's top to lower mount's are the same.
The length's differ from lower mount down of midsection's. " so the long shaft trim units can be used. it is very easy to do. you just need a little time, grinder/ band saw , and some spray paint. i found mine on ebay. keep looking you will find one.
