Redondo Beach, CA November 2012- For the 66th time, The Southern California Speedboat Club Sprint Boats have been roaring to life around an 1 ¼ mile oval course laid out on Lake Moovalya in Parker, AZ. Once again, the Southern California Speedboat Club (SCSC) is staging their 66th annual Thanksgiving Regatta at the beautiful Blue Water Resort & Casino. The race will feature 16 classes of the fastest sprint boats, both Inboard and Outboard in the nation.

The 2013 APBA (American Powerboat Racing Association) season get’s underway with the very first race of the 2013 season at the Blue Water. Classes set to race for the historic event are: Round 1 for the Grand National Racing Association Series, Super Stocks, Comp Jet class, Formula Lights, Nostalgia Flat & Endurance and Jet classes, Classic Outboard Runabouts and the limited Stock Outboard Hydroplane classes.

The 66th Annual Thanksgiving Regatta starts on Friday November 23, 2012 at the Bluewater Resort & Casino beach. The Race begins at 9:00 a.m. and should last until approximately 4:30 each day. So come out and celebrate 66 great years of Thanksgiving racing! The admission is free. Please park in the Casino Parking lot and come on down to the beach area to take in all the excitement that Sprint Boat Racing has to offer!

Did anybody do any vids of this event? Last year the team with the yellow Stoker in COR did an amazing job at vedioing the race. They had in boat as well as bank vids. Sorry, I cannot remember their names nor can i find the vids now to give credit but they know who they are.

STV Keith, drove the YELLOW STOKER this year, and he is the guy that did the SUPER job with the video camera last year. You can't race and film at the same time...Well, maybe, with a GoPro.
