Began make ship's skin. It will be a sandwich structure, core - polyurethane foam Divinisell Diab, density 60kg/m3...
Laminates of kevlar and glass...
This is a tedious and long work:)

No kidding looks like it, thanks for sharing, this will be a very nice thread to follow as I am wanting to build a boat next winter.

Beautiful framing, but I was expecting it to be covered in plywood. Hard to beat plywood for strength to weight when you have that much framing already. Just curious as to why you are doing foam? I would think a foam core construction would require less framing than you have done here.

You are right! Foam on the board only, everything to be covered in plywood. Board has a curved shape, and it is difficult to do using plywood. For rigidity and strength is not required as frequent framing, this is done for the correct form. Some parts of the framing will be removed later.
Better to have frequent and accurate framing, than make surface finish long time.:)

I'm so sorry!, but I have not spoken in English, and perhaps not always correctly say...
You know what I mean?:o

Will this be a running plug or prototype, to later build a mold from or is this a one off
