Lightened flywheel, gutted cowling for more air volume, cut tuner.
Boat ran 62 with the 20p Ron Hill Yamaha Semi Cleaver buried w/ 10" of setback. Gun box can be removed to get rid of some more weight. Would make a great smack boat and fishing/hunting boat all in the same. You really have to drive it to appreciate the hull design, rigidness of the boat, and most importantly handling and speed.
Price is Negotiable. Will meet for sale.

Will separate boat and motor as well if someone is interested in just the motor. Make me an offer.

I might be interested if it's still available. Is the motor short or long shaft? Does it have power trim?

Yeah it's still available. It's a long shaft. It has a gas assist tilt on the motor but a CMC PT-130 power tilt and trim.
Here's the new ad.

Bring it to the races at moss point. 62mph is in the race. Might sell it over there.

62 might be in "a race" but it definitely isn't in Hank's race lol. I would love to bring it down, but an 8 1/2 hr drive one way and only getting Sundays off has me tied up on that trip.
jwill, what do you consider a fishing load? With the 15p it'll push 3 guys (one in the front, one in the middle, and the driver) with 3 dozen decoys, dog, and all other related gear in the 46-48 mph range. Granted that's not an ideal weight distribution, but that's a lot of weight to be pushing as well.

Man, that's a heavy load. Originally, I was hoping for a short shaft motor, but that sounds like a heck of a package.

The motor was originally a short shaft. I got tired of water coming over the transom if I shut it down to quick or backed down a steep ramp. Switched it to a long shaft and got a new boat and I can't imagine a better set up for the purpose of hunting/fishing and the occasional day of playing.

I am planning on it. I won the drag race last year with a damaged prop. Looking like I'm gonna have to step up my game this year.

I hope we have a good turn out to the race this year in Augusta, AR. We are going to try and get everything set in stone next few weeks and try and get all the sponsors we can get. Hope some of the out of state folks to get to make it its gonna be a good time. And there's a liquor store less than one mile from the ramp for afterwards and a nice Big sandbar to crash on!!
