40hp mod quesion...

hey whatz up,,im finishing up working on a new yamaha 40hp project and i wanted to know if these engines have a rev-limit wire,,or if itz built in,,have pics of project?:confused:

looks like the choke flaps fell out of those carburators

lol,,,yea man,,,i took those things off,,had to round up the edges of the carb cause in the past,,my carbs would frost up and get cold and look all white in my carbz,,,my theory was that when air enterz the carbz,,its cuts around a sharp corner and gets cold and water starts to form in them...i believe the plastic air box that came with these engines originally had a gasket then a plastic air box,,but the air box was rounded into the carb for better natural air flow....

the gray wire is a loop wire hidden with wires in black sleeve coming out of power pack some times it shows --sometimes it a inch or two inside of sleeve
