Does anyone know how tell a 60 block from a 50 block. This is on the 59ci 3 cyl motors.

only by the serial number mate.i think the 50 blocks have different sleeves with different port timing then the 55/60 blocks ,

Was hoping to be id one with out pulling the crank .sticker is gone.

have you check to see if the number is on the little silver disc ?

if not check the number on the starter motor and other wiring and then check against part numbers, it does sometimes work.
get someone with an ultra violet light and the decal numbers will probably come up as well.

check the spline on the crank shaft, the 40-50 has 13 and the 60 has 11 I believe. Also what year are you talking about ?
