1965 PRO Nationals

Here are a few program pages from the 1965 Alky/PRO Nationals held on the Lake DePue. 1965 was the first of 10 consecutives Nationals held on Lake DePue. Thanks to John Widmer of the DePue Mens Club for allowing me to copy his 1965 race program. The 1965 program was smaller in size than all the other programs.

While looking thru the 1965 program I came across this page. Westclox had a manufactoring facility in Peru for many years which employed many people from the entire Illinois Valley area til it closure sometime in the 80's I believe. The page says all winners will be wearing a westclox watch so I am assuming each winner received one. Can anybody verify this , was it a one year deal , and wouldn't be cool if one still existed today.
