texas cut on a cleaver

hi i'm after some info about doin a texas cut on a 12x20 merc cleaver.i tried a mates 12x22 that had a texas cut and it cracked along pretty good but was just a bit to much pitch.
he dosen't want to lone me the prop so i can copy it which is fair enough.
is there any specific part of the leading edge to cut back and how much do you take off ?

Never heard of a texas cut, can someone explain and what the advantages are and maybe the downside?
I run alsk the lerc cleaver on my tunnel.

hey ron its been sort of a secret for a while that i know of,..someone should spll the beens..
i first heard about it in the late 90's talkin to a few guys online that ran slt boats over there in the states.i thought they just called a 12in prop a texas cut instead of the usual 11in.
it wasn't till after seeing one that was cut ,that i knew what it ment.its a propper cut they do on a cleaver.done a bit of searching online and the cut looks pretty simalar on all the props .

My first thought at looking at the prop was that the blades looked like short sabres.
