If I do a single event APBA membership do I have to have a local club affiliation? Might as well be SoCal as anything else.

Roger Carr says, "The Region 12 Meeting Roger Carr will be Saturday, at NOON, November 2nd, 2013 at Hill Marine, 2683 Halladay Street, Santa Ana, CA 92705.

SCOA (Southern California Outboard Association) will be having nominations for officers for 2014. The next scheduled SCOA meeting is the first Saturday of November (November 2nd) at Hill Marine.

I have heard nothing about a Region Meeting but if Roger Carr wants to have their Region 12 meeting at our factory, Hill Marine's doors are always open to Boat Racing.

I do know that SCOA will be having nominations for officers for 2014, soon. The next scheduled SCOA meeting is the first Saturday of October at Hill Marine.

That SCOA meeting date is news to me. ???

Make you plans to attend the Fall Region 12 meeting. Starting time is NOON, November 2, 2013 at Hill Marine 2683 Halladay Street, Santa Ana, California 92705.

Brats will be served, but I don't know who is cooking them....I'll buy them, but the only thing I can cook is OCRA, and I can't really cook that.

The Southern California Outboard Association will have their meeting after the Region Meeting. This is a nomination meeting for 2014 officers.

The agenda will include:
1. Election of Region Officers for 2014 (As in previous years no ballots will be mailed voting will be done by ballots distributed at the meeting).

2. Election of Category Commissioners for 2014(1 Stock, 1 OPC and 1 Inboard)

3. Race Dates for 2014.

4. Proposed By-law changes (which must be voted on by the general membership of the region, in attendance, to be approved).

Show up early for Brats and Sausages.

Following the Region meeting there will be a meeting of both SCOA and COR.
