Included in this post is the race story from Propeller magazine , thanks again to RC Hawie , and some local newspaper articles. One is a nice story on Pam Kinion and the other is a picture from flip of Bill Boswell from Florida. I remember the Boswell incident as it looked like a fighter jet taking off. Slowly the boat climbed before going upside down and spitting Bill out and finally landing on top of him as he laid in the water. Very scarey incident. Does anyone know what Bill or Pam are doing today ???? Also significant about 1986 is this was the last year a champion was crowned in the 700R class. However the class has been brought back this year , 2013 , and was run at the USTS nationals at DePue with Jared Gryskiewicz winning the first 700R title in 26 years!!!!!
