Happy Birthday and thank you for your loyal support of BRF. Your articles and pictures are very valuable to me, BRF members and the history of boat racing. http://www.boatracingfacts.com/forums/showthread.php?16200-Motor-Sport-Joe-Rome-and-Wayne-Baldwin-Jerry-Waldman-s-News-Article-Auguest-1972&p=136080#post136080 We were younger in 1970.......43 years ago!

I must say I'm overwhelmed. I thought maybe I'd had enough birthday wishes posted by my friends on BRF over the past several years that I knew how you felt already, and that we could let this one slide by. One thing I can say about turning 65 is that in Texas, your fishing license is free. Debbie and I just returned from a wonderful three day road trip to spend time on Canyon Lake,went to Lyndon B Johnson's birthplace, his home in Johnson City, and to the Western White House. Then today we went to eat Bar be Que at Texas' oldest original owner BBQ going back to 1936. And see the "Come And Get It" cannon at Gonzales, Texas. I thank you guys for all your kind thoughts and would like to say that our last stop at a very old and working hardware store in Cuero that still stocks parts for hundred year old windmills, I saw some lead twist end sinkers I needed to fish with, and I told Debbie "I want these for my birthday present". They don't sell those at Walmart.

Wayne====
The neat thing about the old hardware stores is that they would have whatever you needed and could tell you exactly how to install it! Sounds like your enjoying all your years and enjoy a lot more. That's an order!
