2005 BSOA Hi Point awards: Award given to driver who earns the most APBA points in a given class while competing at BSOA/MRC races. A class must be raced at least half of the schedule in order for it to be eligible for an annual award. Points are counted at the time the driver joins the club.

Toilet seat: Larry Terzinski for running out front all year long “showing his butt to the competition”.
Dim Bulb: Chris Algiers for driving all the way to Ocoee, answering the green flag for ASH and running into the dock because his steering cable was on wrong. He then disappeared and did not race.
Cork: Tad Olson. Tad can give his repair man the cork to help fill some of the holes in his boat(s).
Special awards from BSOA Commodore Karl Stoll:
J class emergency landing gear contraption to help cushion the landing when boats fly off of Pete Nydahl’s trailer while going down the highway.
Special bug netting head gear so Mike Pavlick can get a good night sleep at Rock Falls.
