Universal [MULTI-MAKE] 12 inch Mids and gearcases

On a number of threads there are posts that ask about having a universal mid and clamp bracket assembly that would allow a racer to mount any make of motor to the mid. This would greatly increase the opportunity for racers to use different power heads including the newer models. It could also develop manufacturers interest in classes where they saw several of their motors competing against other manufacturers.
Is there someone on the site that would be interested in making these parts?
Who on the site would be interested in buying one of these units?
What classes and motors to you think would benefit?
Do you think this would increase entries at races?

One group of motors that I always thought would make a good race are the 70 cubic Inch 3 and 2 cylinder models.
Every make has at least one and there are both old and new models .They would likely be 100 hp when spec'd out.
