Any photos of your 12" mid? Would love to see something like that on a modifed SLT transom

Just worked on one of these, but it didn't have those yellow hoses. What do they do?

Those are just the bleed lines that take mixed gas that builds up in the c/case back to the intake.

Sweet, what midsection & gearcase is that?
Whats up wit the cilinder head and water routing?

The mid section and gear case are made by Bass Machining in Seattle Wa. It's a direct drive 15/14 gear ratio. The engine turns up close to 9000rpm and currently runs in the mid 80's.

Do you have any contact info for Bass Machining? Was the midsection custom built or is that something they do production on?

One thing to try, and I do it all the time on the V-6 YAMAHA's, is to wire in a Merc Primer solenoid. Works great and starts even better than the choke plates. I use the blue wires that activates the YAMAHA choke to engage the primer then plumb it into the oil injection ports on the intake. Works like a champ.

Thanks, i hope it will.
