I'm shaping and painting my gear case. Again and again...
Now I don't like top of the bullet curved shape. (horizontally, when looking from the side)
Look's like it want to dive..

What are you thinking about?

It looks just like it should for a hatchet....in fact, you do much better work than some of the other stuff I have seen. There are some guys out there running mod Yamato foots that look like something a drunk guy did!

On mine, I simply kept the contours flowing naturally looking from the side with the nose extended just over an inch or so, and rounded from top to bottom. Looking from the front, it is a vertical edge like yours. Basically, mine is a vertical radius nose with a sharp edge, all else still the same. It is a perfected version of the stock case. I built it of a two part metal marine repair putty, then I fiber-glassed over it overlapping the metal slightly. I then finished and faired it with Kevlar strand enforced bondo putty. After that, I covered it with primer then I painted it with aluminum colored engine enamel. I then polished it to make it look factory again. It works great and is faster. Looks a lot better (like a real racing foot) too.

Jippe, what you can do (regarding the downward slope of the upper side toward the nose) is build it up with aluminox putty on each side. You can shape by eyeballing it until it has a even looking contour from the sides to the front. You can then fair it by sanding and finish with body-filler. Then you can give it a few passes of aluminum metallic engine enamel. It may reduce a potential water loading or pressure area that you don't want, plus it will look more uniform. It will hold up very well also. I wouldn't remove anything though.
