Cash to Burn

I have a stoker 22sst with a 300xp powering it. The prop is a 4 blade 24 chopper. I have installed a 6" jackplate and have raised the motor quite a bit from where it was stock. My question is how can i get the hull to lift out of the water more? The only boat I have to compare it to was my 85 Baker tunnel with a built 235 putting out around 285. That boat would be completely out of the water almost uncontrollable. The Baker would run at 7500 rpm's while the stoker will only pull 5500. Any help would be greatly appreciated
