Can anyone tell me where they are setting the float levels on round bowl 70 hp carbs? I think my float levels are too high, and when I hit any chop my motor falls off like it is flooding out... I can pinch my fuel line and the motor cleans back out again. I see there are 2 vents in the upper bowl area of the carb and I think when fuel sloshes it's getting in them causing a rich condition???
Anyone ever experience this? Thoughts?

Why not drop the float height a 1/16 inch or so?

I have lowered the float level but haven't been able to try it yet.
That is odd it seems to go fat unless my jetting is rich which I don't believe it is. Running stock jetting 140/145/140. Turning my 10.5 x18 cleaver 6200 and my motor is still 2" below pad.

Ok will check that also. Put a brand new pump on a month ago but will have a look.
