Need a Good Place to Get a Block Bored Out

Anyone near the Chesapeake Bay/ Easton/ Baltimore area know of a good closed end block boring outfit? I need to get an old Merc triple bored out.

What are the accurate measurements for bore out of round and taper of your block?

Depending on your budget and willing to ship the block there is a machine shop here in Orlando that does blind bore outboards and receives work from from local marinas and out of state. I have had my blind bore work done there with excellent results. Just tell him what final bore and hone dimension you want based on piston you will use. Owner Don has all the neat tools and has been doing machining , fabrication, welding, etc. , for 40+ years and is a excellent machinist and has good reviews.

Doug Kay in Roseville MI. Another note I will have new D piston by mid October. Std. .020" and .040" oversize. Rings, pin and clips will cost $135.
