Earlier this summer I received some racing information from Ralph Donald. Inside one of the folders was a file containing information on the 1976 APBA Annual meeting. I got on the agenda for the Stock Commission and asked that the Model 80 Yamato be approved as "B" Local. I also, wanted the stock bras prop to be be part of the rules.

I was shot down on the prop. They said. "We've never had a propeller rule or spark plug rule.

I argued that my three blade propellers sold for $225 each and a Yamato 80, with propeller sold for $318.

But the brass prop go voted down.


Seems a few years later four blade props were voted down and Spec Props were approved...

Oh well I made several thousand selling Yamato 80 three blades...
