Omc 60 2cyl

Looking to build a 2cyl omc short shaft motor for my lite wt.wooden runabout...what is the difference in the new 50 and the old 60 motors 2cyl?

Sorry guys schould have said old 50 and 60 omc 2cyl...So is there a huge difference in the internal engine specs...porting ect....

lookin at pistons, from 81-00 the 50-60hp looper takes the same bullets, 55hp
same bullets size(bore) dif' part. if ya can get a 60hp, get it. if ya got a 50hp ya can make a 60hp.:cool: mostly carb and pipe, what your putin it on will say what you want to do with the ports, maybe nutin.
