Could you run a standard piston in a sleve bored 1 over and get the same result. I know that we had a 350 Konig that was prone to sticking the top, front. So we ran a standard piston in it with the cylinder bored to the next size. The standard piston and next size-up used the same ring. The engine ran very, very well. As a matter of fact, it stills run very well today, although the current owner may have updated the pistons.
