Beautiful boat. Cannot tell the length, but it looks just like my old 350. What type of engine on it pushing it to 98?

Forgot exactly how long. Sure looked fast.

Was back in may at Quincy Il. where QW used to test.

David it is possible that this is your old boat. Under the floor board it is stamped as being a 350 boat and not sure as to how Pugh stamps his years but I beleive it is a 91.The boat is 12'2".We bought the boat a few years back from Burt Hoefs. He couldn't make it run with a 44 we put a FE on it and it came to life.
This was an honest 94.4 on the gps but not a safe set up for true competition. At 67 years of age Homer thinks he needs a bigger boat.

Sounds like it was the same vintage. The boat I had was a 1991, but I recall it being 12'6". I sold it to a guy in New Hampshire or Maine who was going to use it as a Lake Boat to race aroubd with his friends. I guess he could have sold it. Right after these boats were finished, Gary went to real high-sides, I believe.

Jeff...... the flywheel is just a stock flywheel with the starter gear removed, it may be turned down a bit but there is not a whole lot you can take off them with out wrecking the integrity.

Dave... this boat is 12'2" I just remeasured it. I does have the high sides. Or at least they are high compared to our 82 Pugh. It may look like less because Homer drives up over the stearing wheel. " I just wrap my N*T'S around the wheel and hold on" he says.
