Those shots are incredible...Lemme ask something here. There was a time when that class of boats ran open exhaust... I used to watch them on "Speed Channel" back in the midwest and imagined driving one of those boats....Have the leftust whack jobs wrecked it in New Zealand as they have in many places in the US where you can't run open exhaust in a race? They are attemtping to limit exhaust noise on fuel cars at Pomona...Good luck!

And another exhaust question...For that style of run, short burst, could you benefit from 180° headers? We noticed a huge difference in our off road truck because the gasses are "pushed and pulled" from the next tube that fires. Basically you cross header pipe 3+5 over and into header pipe 2+8, then you take 4+6 and run it into 1+7's collectors. The sound is incredible, 180's work really well on long runs down a straight, but also very well on short burst sprints as I see this type of racing would require....
