I'm still winding down from the APBA Convention last week....I'm one of APBA's biggest critics, but one part, Fred Miller's APBA Hall of Champions makes me be proud to be an APBA member...
In 1974, the Hall of Champions was started. Paul Gritchar was selected to the 1974 APBA Hall of Champions for Inboard. In 2006, Paul was selected (earned) to the APBA Hall of Champions. 33 years after his frist trip to the Hall of Champions.
Paul spoke briefly, but he said a lot. He thanked the Plan B Team, headed by Ben Marrone, for PULLING him back to boat racing after an accident that left him paralized on one side...
congratulations, Paul...
