Nothing feels like a HydroStream.:D Before you ask, YES it says Evinrude on the windshield and Johnson on the motor. As long as it's an OMC that's what is important.

It's still a good ride just not near as free.:D Dads doing good. Sure miss you man.

I wish I had a V6 but the Viper doesn't like the extra weight.:D Ok lets be honest, the wife said NO. Love when they still have the windshield..

In the last picture, I have oil leaking from the little weep hole in front of the water pickups on the gearcase. Someone please help. Is that just my shiftrod seal?

Does the oil look like gear lube, or is it slightly darker? If it's darker there is a good chance it's just exhaust mixed with water. If you were leaking gear oil, another indicator would be that the gear oil is anywhere from milky white to a gray, and that would be the water incomming, taking up space that the oil used to occupy. Dump the gear oil and tell me what color it is, that will tell more.

I just noticed it a couple days ago. The boat has not been wet since Labor day weekend. So I'm pretty sure it's oil. Not sure why it started leaking when I hooked up the boat and pulled it to the car wash.

Had these stickers made today for my motor. Thought the old F1 V8 race motor was cool so I did the best I could to match. I'm going to put the red and black pin stripes on this afternoon. What you guys think?

Very cool, Tim...But, but 85 stickers on the hood. It destroys the Merc guys ego when they get passed by an 85....Has a 150BP guy in an identical boat nearly blowing chunks one day when I edged him by about 1/2 mile an hour....

Ok, for the sake of something to read I thought I'd show you guys how stupid I am. My mother who I haven't seen in a couple of years is visiting from Florida and because the race was canceled this weekend I had to find something to do and of coarse the river was my first choice. What I didn't know was going to happen was my wife and my mother were going to leave me on the sandbar all day and burn $100 worth of gas in my boat.:eek:
