Im wondering if any body out there has run a LTV with an ET prop and injected 2.4 Bridgeport? If so what were the results better then a cleaver? Also anybody that has run one with a hoss triton 1 and gone to ET? Id really appreciate any input as Ive run v-bottoms and true tunnels but never a mod-vp I understand Lasers mod packs a lot of air about 95-100. Thanks in advance as I dont like wasteing money and I dont like to get wet. Exlakexdriver

i drag raced them needle nose hulls for a lot of yrs
we built them after roarke quit making them
ran unlimited set up,,,,,
fully ported alcohol mota with nitrous and 12" with speedmaster
they are a drive with respect boat
by time you are at 70 it better be flat from there on
when i river rode with full size gearcases
the best working prop for me was the yamaha drag ,,,,,
nothing else would compare
all the big eared props just dont work as well
the thin narrow blades allows slippage and doesnt bite so hard
so allows boat to track better excelling with out getting too loose,,or pulling transom too high
running split shaft and 2 hole cle for full size is good combo,,,sportmaster has torque tab more drag and little slower ,,but safer
i liked the xs150 2/1 gearcase with 25 pitch best,,,,but does not have a lot of life,,but fast,,,,and as loose as the speedmaster,,just not as much speed
great for 1/8 mile
that set up on the hull is hard to beat from 0-100
drive it with respect
especially if running over 200hp
from 80 on theres no playing around in them hulls
driving safety equiptment, wind and water conditions better be right
they were made for max lift at 80mph and 200 hp motor
for mod vp
so when push above be readdy
have fun with it
i like the hulls a lot
and stilll have 2 here
john
Thanks John see your p.m.s Thanks Exlakexdriver

I raced an LTV in ModVP to US-2 in 1984. Ran a 2.4 Mod VP Bridgeport with the heads cut .060" and jetting to suit. Best top end was 104 with a Mercury 30" cleaver. Ran a 28 Merc cleaver in competition. As good a boat as I ever drove. Once you got the feel of it you feel like you wear it. John, that prop looks like a 27 DAH OMC prop we used to run on JP boats in the 70s. It was an unbeatable prop on a 16' Allison.

pull your head out John... DABULL is Bobby's screen name... I refer to him as Bull on here... if your boat was a real LTV not a copy, the DAD I refer to built it most likely...

Smokey...Any pictures of your 16 foot Allison???? Joe Burgess used to use my 26 Merc TE and my 28 over the hubs with a slip on tube in JP....I never drove an Allison.....Scared myslelf bad enough ina Checkmate once....
Didn't Gary Garbrecht blow an LTV over, his last blow over, with a V-8 Evinrude???
Seems to me, IF I COULD FIND AN LTV, AND the price was right...I'd buy it for the 2.0 class...
Seems these four blade ET style props are out doing any cleavers....but then again, I gave up on cleavers a few years back because they palne the boat so poorly and an ET is a ROCKET out of the hole...
John Miffco...like MOST of your posts....no need to delete them all...we still like you and respect you!!!!

Johns boat was a pop off built Leon Miller and he did all the changes after buying the boat wrecked. Leon owned Miffco before selling it to John. I had the mold but had to sell no place to store it dont know what happened to it after I sold it.
