I was hoping that someone can help me. Since I don't have one in front of me to measure, I was hoping someone could tell me if a Tillotson KA5A carburetor has a 1" venturi and a 1-1/8 throat?
Thanks in advance.

The KA5A measures the same as nearly all other KA series carbs. No performance advantage.
Just tiny differences in idle pasages etc.
BTW, the KA5A is from an old Merc 200 (20hp)
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, Jeff. I appreciate it. I thought that the KA5A was pretty much the same from what I had heard, but I wasn't 100% sure. I just wanted to verify that. So, thanks again. :)

There are a few KA's that are not exactly 1 and 1 1/8 ... but I finally found a spec page that includes the 5A and the 5A is a 1 and 1 1/8.
KA 10's 11's 15's and 16's are 1 3/32 venturi and 1 1/8 throat

Thanks for the confirmation, Sam. I appreciate the input.
