Bill Boyes Family

Bill Boyes, Jr. has been Region 11 Chairman for many years. His wife Kaye, has been an APBA Scorer since about the time they got married.

Bill and I have known each other since I was 11.

Bill's mother passed away a week or two ago and it didn't get posted. I've been busy, but will write about Janet "Jan" Boyes, one of these days. I'm so happy I took some time off and visited Bill Sr. and Janet about two years ago....in St. George, Utah.

I hope Bill "Billy" will post some family pictures.....I'm sorry for your loss, Bill, Kaye, and Matt....and the rest of the family. Janet Boyes worked for TRIPLE A for years....She always gave us the RADAR COPS locations.....She also made the best bologna sandwiches, with tomato and lettuce...god those were good!, at the races...In fact, Bill, Jeff Merlin and myself lived on our own bologna sandwiches from Boston to California...1963.

Bill Boyes, Jr. just e-mailed me that his father passed away in St. George, Utah. I talked to Bill Sunday and yesterday, he told me his dad was bad...

Bill was always a great APBA man, same as Kaye and Bill, Jr. I'm saddened by the news....but will always reflex on some of his wonderful deeds in his 97 years....

Bill...we send prayers to your family at this time. I like to think of all the experiences he had. He saw and went through a lot of stuff in his life. God bless you guys during this time, but think about where he is now.
