hey guys

just woundering if someone could help me!

at the moment if i have no skiers out the back i can get the boat to sit real nice at high speeds noised over and lots of arse out of the water!

but if i place skiers on the back it pulls the arse in the water and tends to nose up a fair bit more!

so i was woundering if someone could tell me how can i get the rear of the boat to lift more?

the shaft is about 1/2 inch off the bottum of the boat and i cant lift anymore cause i start to lose water pressure on corners! and its OMC so i need lots of water pressure!

It might be worth trying rope connections low down on either side og the engine rather than using a ski pole. See if that improves the situation.

Make the ski pole longer this will then use the skiiers to lift the bow and the engine can then be run with less trim to lift the back. Have a look at some photos of any quick ski race boat in paticular some of the LAB boats and you will see the ski ropes run over the top of the engine about 12 to 15in high. You should also try some different props. Plug up your top 2 water intake holes (this keeps air out)to get more engine height, or fit a low water pick up nose cone.

the problem is i have too much bow lift so i am going to try and run the ski rope lower! i have bought a ski pole and a number boartd from the former streakin boats ski race boat as it has flipped and is no longer in commision!

so i am going to try that and i have bought a number of props from ron hill and i am going to try them also since than i have bought a new engine with a short trunk and a few more horse power so im hoping that it will push the nose over a bit more!
