After talking to many who are running Division III with a 2.0 Liter Mercury, I've made a prop that I think will be a "HUMMER"....I made props long ago that Pat Murphy called "HUMMERS" long before there was a car called a "HUMMER"....Anyway, here's my offer:

Anyone running Division III at Parker can test this "HUMMER", If you want to race the prop, you must bid over $250 in a silent auction. Before the race, I'll look at all silent auction bids, $250 will be for ME, which is cheap, and the amount over $250 will go to Division III prize money...If the prop is a "DOG", no one will need to bid, but I did make this prop for Chad Hill and Todd Bowden, then decided it wasn't FAIR I only build one prop that I felt might be "THE HUMMER"....

If she's a DOG, I'm a big boy, I've made dogs before!!!!

ADD: She is one of Steve's Custom Props casting, she is painted RED and marked 14 1/2 X 24 on the side and says Ron Hill...

Let us not forget, The Blue Water Resort and Casino 300 is about FAMILY, FUN and FRIENDS....

That looks like a Hoss Triton copy!? From the guys I know running Div III a 24p is not going to get it done! A 24p at 7000rpm is only going to get you around 80mph.

Interesting how names get on things...Mercury made an Offshore prop, Grandpa Seebold and I did some cutting on them...Hoss copied our design...Now peopl call them HOSS PROPS...Thisis a Steve Glen improvement...with a touch of Ron Hill on it...

Anyway, 80 MPH is our target speed.....

Didn't mean to disrespect, kudos to your design! Was there an original name for that style prop. Also the Hoss props tended to be a really light prop is yours comparable in weight?

My Offshore Chopper is very thick...For the 2.0, I have thinned it quite a bite...

No hard feelings on the name...Just a little history!!!

I see that Nordic is "on board" as a major sponsor. Our other "major sponsor" the Bluewater Hotel is completely full--they have sold out all of the group rates for the Enduro, and they have sold every other room in the hotel--not bad for an October week-end! Does this mean there will be any more prize money? I know last year Nordic was talking some real good talk, but I haven't heard any thing from "the boss" . what gives, if anything? If there is any additional prize money, we should let the folks who are undecided know about it, kind of like the presidential race. As you all know, this race has been very personal with me, from the original concept of the stagger'd start to where we are today, let's keep it safe, honest and a fun filled week-end. :) Capnzee

The Blue Water will be giving $5,000 in prize money. Nordic has stepped up as a sponsor of the event to help offset costs to put this event on, just like Ben Marrone has done in the past. It is less than two weeks from the event and less than 30 entries confirmed, I know we are in a down economy but I personally cannot afford to take a financial loss on the event otherwise I can't put in on in the future. So, in essance, we have $5K in prize money to divide, trophy, plaques and bragging rights. If anyone else want's to step up and put money towards prize/show I have no problem with it.
