Does anyone make a new lower unit and 15"tower that could be used in place of a speedmaster lower unit on a Mark 60 6 cylinder Merc?
To be used on a nostalgia runabout.

You could graft a Bass lower unit directly to the bottom of the Mk 75 fishing tower and come up with something close ... problem is and always was props. Props for the racing lower units big enough for the Mk 75 start at around 12" of pitch. Is your boat capable of 75+ mph?

Mark;
Do you have contact information for Bass? Can't find a web site.
Rich Fuchslin says he can build a sleeper engine.
No decision on the boat yet, could be an AristroCraft Torpedo, has to be family friendly, so I doubt it is going to see 75 mph. Wouldn't Dewald be able to build a prop that would work?

Dewald doesn't make anything in the large diameter you'd need with the low pitch you'd need.
If the rig needs to be "family friendly" you are not going to be able to use a racing lower unit.

Thank you for the referral phone number and opinion on application.
Even though your response is not the answer I was hoping for, better to know it now than later.
