My service manual says it's the brown wire coming out of the CD unit.
Just ground the brown wire and you'll shut her down. But lemme double check on my motor tomorrow. The manual's a little vague.

E-mail me a simple wiring diagram of your kill circuits (Driver and Rider). I am sure we can get it to kill the engine from 2 switches.

No I have not tryed the diode actual I have never heard of it
Is the Tohatsu and Ground/ run , no ground / no run system? I seem to remember they had a wierd switch position when I was a dealer.

I think it is a ground to run because I can get the switch to work but it is backwards pull the switch and I get spark put the switch on and no spark !

then you have the wrong kill switch.............there is a "normally open" kill switch and a "normally closed" kill switch.................Seadog brand also makes a universal kill switch, which has both setups..............
or use Tohatsu kill switches with a blocking diode (I buy mine from Mercury)........

If its ground to shutdown then you can have as many switches as you like
